The new bill, called the Viksit Bharat—Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Bill, 2025, will be presented in the Lok Sabha. If approved, this bill would take the place of the existing Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act. The new bill will be named VB-G RAM G BILL.
