Zubeen Garg's Cop Cousin, Who Was At Singapore Yacht Party, Arrested

Sandipan Garg is in the Assam Police Service. This is the fifth arrest in the case, a senior officer told NDTV.
Zubeen Garg died on September 1 during his trip to Singapore for the North East India Festival. The 52-year-old had gone for a swim at a yacht party and was found floating face down in the water.
Sandipan had accompanied Zubeen for what was the police officer's first foreign trip. He was also present at the yacht party.
Sandipan will be presented in the court and police remand will be sought, Special Investigation Team (SIT) chief MP Gupta told NDTV. On being asked why he hasn't he been suspended from the police force, Gupta said the arrest occurred today and that further action will be taken by the concerned department.
