Former Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka Introduces New AI Venture, Raises $32 Mn In Seed ...

Enterprise AI services startup Hang Ten Systems has raised USD 32 million in a seed funding round led by Mayfield, with participation from Aramco Ventures and a group of Silicon Valley angel investors.
Founded by former Infosys Chief Executive Officer Vishal Sikka, the Palo Alto-based startup provides AI-led software engineering and enterprise transformation services to large organisations. The company said the proceeds will be used to strengthen its team and expand engagements with enterprise customers globally.
Hang Ten develops AI-native software engineering capabilities, including agentic code generation, reusable skills libraries and domain-specific AI models, to help enterprises accelerate software development, integration and maintenance while lowering costs.
The company said it is already working with global enterprises, including Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and Fresenius, to deploy AI across business operations and software systems.
"Every single enterprise will be transformed by AI. A few are already reaping massive benefits, building in days what used to take years. But most are stuck at the starting line, or worse, and the gap is widening every day," Sikka said while announcing the company's launch.
The startup also announced that Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang has joined its board. According to the company, Hang Ten is backed by Mayfield, Aramco Ventures and a group of Silicon Valley angel investors.
Sikka served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Infosys between 2014 and 2017. Before launching Hang Ten, he founded AI software company Vianai Systems in 2019 and led the company until April 2026. He currently serves on the supervisory board of BMW Group and is a member of the board of directors at GSK.
