WTE Miami 2026 To Bring Together 500+ Exhibitors And Thousands Of Global Travel ...
Visitor registration has officially opened for WTE Miami 2026, with organisers announcing an expanded edition of the global travel trade event that is expected to bring together tourism boards, airlines, hospitality brands, travel advisors and technology providers from more than 70 countries this October.Scheduled to take place on October 27–28, 2026, at the Miami Beach Convention Center, the event is expected to be one of the largest travel industry gatherings in the Americas following its acquisition by Fairfest Media earlier this year.
According to the organisers, the 2026 edition will feature over 500 exhibitors, approximately 7,000 buyers, including more than 500 hosted and VIP buyers, alongside representatives from over 20 National Tourism Organisations (NTOs) and convention bureaus. The event aims to facilitate business connections across the global tourism ecosystem while strengthening access to the North American travel market.
A key highlight of this year's programme is the 'Travel Advisor of the Future' Conference, which will examine how technology, evolving traveller expectations and changing distribution models are reshaping the travel industry. The conference will feature more than 100 speakers across 20-plus sessions, covering topics including artificial intelligence in tourism, destination marketing, customer engagement, travel advisor evolution, creator-led destination discovery and emerging consumer behaviour.
The programme is being developed in collaboration with organisations such as the Host Agency Reviews (HAR), the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) and the African Travel Association (ATA), with an emphasis on practical strategies for travel professionals navigating a rapidly changing marketplace.
Beyond its conference agenda, WTE Miami is positioning itself as a business-focused marketplace designed to generate commercial opportunities rather than serve solely as an exhibition. Organisers expect the hosted buyer programme and business matchmaking platform to facilitate more than 10,000 scheduled and on-site meetings, connecting destinations, tourism boards, airlines, hotels, travel technology companies and tour operators with qualified buyers from across the United States.
The event also reflects the growing convergence between tourism, technology and experience design. As destinations increasingly compete through immersive experiences and personalised travel offerings, industry platforms such as WTE Miami are becoming important forums for collaboration, innovation and market development.
The 2026 edition is being organised in partnership with Miami International Airport (MIA) and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), reinforcing Miami's position as a major international tourism gateway.
Confirmed participants include tourism organisations from Jamaica, South Africa, China, Belize, Honduras, the Cayman Islands and the Maldives, alongside hospitality and travel brands including Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels, Royal Jordanian, Iberia, SKY Airline, Frenchbee, Juniper Travel Technology and TBO.com. Additional exhibitors and partners are expected to be announced in the lead-up to the event.
For the global meetings, tourism and experiential sectors, WTE Miami 2026 highlights the growing importance of international trade platforms that combine business networking, knowledge exchange and technology-driven insights, as destinations compete for one of the world's most valuable outbound travel markets.
