Sarovar Hotels launches 'Culinary Caravan', highlights regional flavours

Experiential dining is taking centre stage at Sarovar Hotels with the launch of Culinary Caravan, a travelling culinary platform designed to showcase India’s regional cuisines through chef-led pop-up dining experiences across select properties in its network.
Marking the first show of the Caravan, Hometel Lucknow recently hosted a Bihar-themed dining experience “Mitti Ka Swaad“ curated by Chef Rachna Prasad, presenting dishes such as Litti Chokha, Champaran Mutton, Sattu specialities and traditional desserts. The forthcoming editions will showcase Kashmiri cuisine through Abbas Ka Wazwan, Chettinad cuisine through Virundhu, Amritsari cuisine through Pind Da Swaad and Thai cuisine through Siam Soiree.
As part of the initiative, selected Sarovar Hotels in Hyderabad, Delhi-NCR, Chandigarh, Puducherry, Sriperumbudur, Mumbai, and Tirupati will host guest chefs presenting limited-time culinary pop-ups.
On the launch, Jatin Khanna, CEO, Sarovar Hotels, said: "Food has become an integral part of the travel experience, with guests increasingly seeking authentic regional flavours and meaningful culinary stories. Through Culinary Caravan, we aim to celebrate India's remarkable culinary diversity by bringing regional cuisines, local traditions and authentic recipes to selected Sarovar Hotels, creating memorable dining experiences for both travellers and local communities."
