StarlinePS Backs Celloraa Energy With Rs 160 Cr Investment

StarlinePS Enterprises has announced a strategic investment of Rs 160 crore in Celloraa Energy to establish a 1.2 GW Domestic Content Requirement (DCR)-compliant solar cell manufacturing facility in Surat, Gujarat. The investment is aimed at strengthening India's domestic renewable energy manufacturing ecosystem as the country seeks to expand indigenous solar manufacturing under its clean energy and energy security goals.

The proposed facility will manufacture DCR-compliant solar cells, supporting the government's efforts to reduce import dependence while increasing local manufacturing capacity across the solar value chain.

Commenting on the investment, Shwet Koradiya, Director, StarlinePS Enterprises, said the company sees significant long-term potential in India's renewable energy manufacturing sector. "Our investment in Celloraa Energy reflects our strong confidence in India's rapidly growing renewable energy manufacturing sector and Celloraa's long-term vision.
