While some fans praised Prithviraj’s commanding presence and Rajamouli’s bold vision, others felt the look resembled Spider-Man’s Doctor Octopus or Suriya's 24 or Vivek Oberoi’s Krrish 3 character.

However, Rajamouli adds his own twist, metallic antenna-like extensions resembling the high-tech designs seen in Kalki 2898 AD.
Interestingly, these mechanical appendages bring to mind Doctor Octopus from Spider-Man, merging the feel of science fiction with mythic grandeur.
Rajamouli’s penchant for drawing inspiration from diverse sources is evident once again.
In his previous magnum opus Baahubali, he crafted characters that mirrored elements from Dasavatharam and the Mahabharata.
