Shares of FSN E-Commerce Ventures, the parent company of beauty and fashion retailer Nykaa, surged over 6 per cent on 06 October , after the company released a robust business update for the second quarter of FY2026.
The stock closed at a 52-week high of Rs 255.17 apiece with 6.48 per cent gain on the NSE.
In a post-market exchange filing, Nykaa said it expects its consolidated gross merchandise value (GMV) to grow in the “thirties” percentage range during the July-September quarter, compared with growth in the “mid-twenties” seen in recent quarters.
The company attributed this improvement to a renewed acceleration in its Fashion vertical and steady growth in its Beauty business.
Nykaa anticipates consolidated net revenue growth in the mid-twenties, aided by an early onset of the festive season and recent GST reforms, which it said would “stimulate demand, boost disposable income, and drive long-term growth across consumer and discretionary categories.”
The company added that its Beauty vertical is on track to deliver net sales value (NSV) and net revenue growth in the mid-twenties, marking over 10 consecutive quarters of sustained momentum.
Growth was driven by strong performances from acquired brands such as Dot & Key and homegrown labels like Kay Beauty and Nykaa Cosmetics.
Meanwhile, the Fashion vertical is expected to post NSV growth in the higher mid-twenties, supported by strong traction on its core platform, expanding brand partnerships, and solid customer acquisition.
However, net revenue growth in this segment is likely to remain in the low twenties, due to a lag in advertising and marketing income. |
