Kawasaki has announced the new prices of its motorcycle lineup in India. The move has been directed to suit the new GST regime announced by the Finance Ministry, which implies 18 percent GST and no cess on bikes with engine capacity up to 350cc. This makes the Kawasaki KLX230, Ninja 300, and Verysys X 300 more affordable.
Kawasaki KLX 230, 230 RS
The Kawasaki KLX 230 recently got a price revision, which brought the price down to Rs 1.99 lakh. However, now, after the announcement of the new tax structure, the prices of the KLX 230 are further down, starting from Rs 1.84 lakh (ex-showroom). Kawasaki's most popular sport bike, the Ninja 300 prices now starts from Rs 3.17 lakh (ex-showroom), under the new GST structure. Previously, it was priced at Rs 3.43 lakh (ex-showroom).
Kawasaki Versys-X 300
Customers looking for an adventure tourer can have the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 in the list. The Kawasaki Versys-X300 is now available at a price tag of Rs 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
