Baccarat is a popular card game often found in casinos. The objective is simple: bet on which hand, the Player\“s or the Banker\“s, will have a total value closest to 9. You can also bet on a Tie.
The game uses a standard deck of cards. Cards 2 through 9 are worth their face value. Aces are worth 1 point, and 10s, Jacks, Queens, and Kings are worth 0 points. If the total value of a hand exceeds 9, only the last digit of the total is considered. For example, a hand with a 7 and an 8 （totaling 15） is worth 5 points. 
To start, both the Player and Banker are dealt two cards. A third card may be drawn for either hand based on specific rules. The hand with the total closest to 9 wins. Betting on the Banker\“s hand usually comes with a commission, typically 5%, because it has a slightly higher probability of winning.
Basic strategy involves understanding the odds. The Banker bet has the best odds, followed by the Player bet, with the Tie bet having the worst odds. It is generally advised to avoid the Tie bet due to its high house edge. |
