On Thursday, several prominent companies, including Infosys, Wipro, Nestle India, Punjab & Sind Bank, Waaree Energies, Jio Financial Services, and JSW Infrastructure, are set to release their earnings for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026 (Q2FY26).
Other firms expected to announce their Q2 results today include Indian Bank, Kajaria Ceramics, Indian Overseas Bank, LTIMindtree, Zee Entertainment Enterprises and Eternal.
Infosys Q2 Outlook
IT heavyweight Infosys will to post its September-quarter numbers with analysts expecting sequential growth in both revenue and profit, fueled by ramp-ups in new deals and contributions from recent acquisitions.
Wipro Q2 Outlook
Technology firm Wipro is expected to report modest September-quarter results. Revenue is forecasted to rise slightly by 2.73 per cent QoQ to Rs 22,757.05 crore, while net profit may decline nearly 2 per cent sequentially to Rs 3,264.35 crore. On a YoY basis, both top and bottom lines are likely to post modest gains of 2.22 per cent and 1.73 per cent, respectively. Analysts said that margins could remain under pressure due to upfront costs linked to large deals, despite rupee depreciation. Key areas to watch include commentary on the consulting segment, especially within the BFSI vertical, large-deal pipelines and potential impacts on client discretionary spending.
