Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Ltd. (CleanMax) has commissioned around 530 MW of renewable energy capacity during the first quarter of FY27, marking its highest-ever quarterly commissioning. The addition has expanded the company's operational renewable energy portfolio from around 3.6 GW in March 2026 to approximately 4.2 GW.
The company said the milestone reflects rising demand for renewable energy from commercial and industrial (C&I) consumers, while underscoring its ability to execute large-scale solar, wind and hybrid projects.
Gujarat, Karnataka Lead Capacity Additions
Of the total capacity commissioned during the quarter, 403 MW was added under the renewable energy power sales business, while 126 MW came from the renewable energy services segment.
The operational renewable energy portfolio now comprises around 3.5 GW under the power sales business and about 0.7 GW under the services business.
The largest capacity additions came from Gujarat (around 170 MW), Karnataka (around 160 MW) and Maharashtra (around 110 MW), with additional projects commissioned in Haryana and Chhattisgarh. Overall, the projects were executed across 11 sites in five states.
Within the power sales business, the commissioned capacity included around 350 MWp of solar and 53 MW of wind projects under long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Energy Attribute Purchase Agreements (EAPAs). The services business added 126 MWp of solar capacity through engineering, procurement, construction and operations and maintenance projects for C&I customers.
Corporate Demand Continues To Grow
Commenting on the milestone, Kuldeep Jain, Founder and Managing Director of CleanMax, said, “Crossing 500 MW of commissioning in a single quarter reflects the scale of demand we are seeing from commercial and industrial customers.”
He added, “Our focus remains on timely execution and creating long-term value for customers and shareholders.”
The company also said it secured new customers across the technology, data centre, AI and industrial sectors, including Meta, Apple, STT GDC India, Iron Mountain Data Centers, Princeton Digital Group, CEAT and Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd. (GACL), highlighting growing adoption of renewable energy among large commercial and industrial consumers.
CleanMax said its contracted renewable energy portfolio stood at 5.7 GW in FY26. As of March 2026, it served 588 customers, with data centres and AI infrastructure accounting for 42 per cent of its contracted renewable energy power sales portfolio. In May 2026, CARE Ratings upgraded the company's credit rating to CARE AA-/Stable.
