Just weeks after stepping down as Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, aviation and travel industry veteran Vinay Malhotra will soon be back with VFS Global as Head of Strategic Global Partnership. This will mark his homecoming to the organisation where he previously held senior leadership responsibilities. In his new role, Malhotra will work closely with VFS Global Founder and CEO Zubin Karkaria to strengthen strategic alliances and drive the company’s next phase of global growth.
At IndiGo, Malhotra spent over four years in leadership, including as Head of Global Sales, where he played an instrumental role in strengthening the airline's international commercial footprint. With more than three decades of experience across aviation, travel technology and visa services, Malhotra’s career includes leadership roles at Emirates, Swissair and Galileo. His rare combination of airline, distribution and mobility expertise has made him one of the travel industry’s most respected commercial leaders.
His return to VFS Global comes at a significant time for the company, which continues to expand its technology-led mobility solutions and partnerships across more than 160 countries under the leadership of Zubin Karkaria. As international travel gathers pace, Malhotra’s appointment is expected to strengthen VFS Global’s strategic engagement with governments, travel stakeholders and global partners. |
