The Institute of Bakery & Culinary Arts (IBCA) has announced scholarships of up to Rs 1,00,000 for students pursuing bakery and culinary education. The initiative is expected to benefit more than 400 students enrolled in the institute’s diploma and certification programmes.
According to the institute, scholarship amounts will range from Rs 25,000 to Rs 1,00,000, depending on the course structure and eligibility criteria. The programme aims to support aspiring chefs and hospitality professionals seeking formal training in bakery and culinary arts. IBCA offers a portfolio of courses including an 18-month Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts, an 18-month Advanced Diploma in Pastry, a 12-month Diploma in Culinary Arts, a 12-month Diploma in Pastry Arts, a four-month Certificate Course in Pastry, and specialised culinary and pastry hobby courses.
The students from the institute also receive training and placement opportunities with hotels and restaurants through its industry network. |
