Kabaddi is a traditional Indian sport that requires a specific court layout for official matches. The kabaddi court is rectangular in shape, measuring 13 meters in length and 10 meters in width for men\“s matches, while for women\“s matches, it is 12 meters by 8 meters. The court is divided into two halves by a midline, and each half contains a baulk line and a bonus line. The baulk line is drawn 3.75 meters from the midline, and the bonus line is placed 1 meter behind the baulk line. Additionally, there are lobbies on both sides of the court, which are 1 meter wide and run along the entire length. These measurements ensure fair play and are standardized by kabaddi federations in India. Diagrams of the kabaddi court often include these elements to help players and coaches understand the playing area clearly. |
