Earthquake of magnitude 5.6 strikes central Peru, EMSC says

​An ‌earthquake of ​magnitude 5.6 struck Central Peru ‌on Saturday (July 18, 2026), ⁠the European Mediterranean Seismological ‌Centre said.
The depth of ‌the ​quake was ⁠22 ‌km (13.67 miles), the ‌EMSC said.
