Maheshwari succeeds R Ravi Kumar and officially assumed office on July 15, while Garimella moves up from the role of Vice President. Both leaders previously served on the FTCCI executive team during 2025–26 and have been associated with the 109-year-old industry body for several years.
An entrepreneur with over four decades of experience in financial services, Maheshwari is the Chairman and Managing Director of CIL Securities Limited, a BSE-listed financial services company. He has also held leadership positions with the Association of National Stock Exchange Members of India (ANMI) and the Depository Participants Association of India, in addition to serving on several corporate and non-profit boards.

As President, Maheshwari said his priorities would include strengthening industry-government engagement, supporting MSMEs, attracting investments, encouraging innovation and enhancing the global competitiveness of businesses in Telangana. Garimella said FTCCI would continue to focus on entrepreneurship, manufacturing, skill development and future-ready industries while working closely with stakeholders to accelerate industrial growth.
