Kabaddi is a traditional Indian sport that requires a specific playing ground. To draw a kabaddi ground, you need to understand its dimensions and markings.
The standard kabaddi ground measures 13 meters by 10 meters for men and 12 meters by 8 meters for women. Start by drawing a rectangle with these measurements. Divide the ground into two equal halves with a center line.
At each end of the ground, draw a baulk line 3.75 meters from the center line. Then draw a bonus line 1 meter from the baulk line toward the end line. The end lines mark the boundaries of the playing area.
Include sitting blocks for players on both sides of the ground, located 2 meters from the end lines. These areas are where substitute players wait during the game.
All lines should be clearly marked and approximately 3-5 centimeters wide. The ground surface can be clay, grass, or synthetic material, but must be flat and even for safe play. |
