Amid the ongoing probe into the Red Fort car explosion, two schools and three courts in the national capital received bomb threats on Tuesday, prompting the quick evacuation of their premises.
According to reports, an unidentified man called the Police Control Room (PCR) around 9 am and warned that bombs had been placed in the CRPF schools located in Prashant Vihar and Dwarka.
“We checked both the schools thoroughly, and nothing suspicious was found. It was declared a hoax," an official said.
Police are analysing the call records and technical details to identify the caller and ascertain the motive behind the hoax threat.
It may be noted that a blast had occurred near the Prashant Vihar school last year.

Meanwhile, security has been intensified for Saket Court, Patiala House Court and Rohini Court in the national capital following a bomb scare.
Police officials, along with the Fire Department teams and bomb squads, searched the area, but nothing suspicious has been found so far.
"As per my information, there were bomb threat emails to some district court complexes in Delhi today. The bomb threats turned out to be a hoax. Right now, there is no element of fear, and the courts are functioning smoothly," New Delhi Bar Association Secretary Advocate Tarun Rana said.

The fresh threats followed similar hoax calls and emails to several Delhi schools in the last few months, but the police have advised the public to remain vigilant in the wake of the recent car blast.
At least 13 people died and over 30 others were injured when a slow-moving car exploded near the Red Fort on November 10. Police have identified the man who drove the vehicle as Dr Umar Un Nabi, a member of the Faridabad terror module.
