When discussing kabaddi, one of the fundamental questions that often arises is how many players are on a kabaddi team. Kabaddi is a traditional Indian contact sport that requires a high level of skill, speed, and endurance. The standard kabaddi team is made up of 12 players, with 7 on the field at any given time.
The game is divided into two halves, each lasting 20 minutes. During each half, the attacking team sends a raider into the defending team\“s half to score points. The raider must make contact with the ground in the defending team\“s territory without being tackled by a defender.
The team with the highest score at the end of the game is declared the winner. The other important position in the team is the Kabaddi player, who is responsible for calling out the time the raider has on the field. This position requires excellent communication skills and timing. |
