BENGALURU: Acting suo motu on a social media video, Kengeri traffic police booked a case against the owner of a Lamborghini luxury car on charges of rash driving and using a faulty silencer.Police filed an FIR against the owner of Lamborghini, registered in Maharashtra, with ‘MH-01-EB-7434' licence plate.

A video recorded from the dashboard camera of another car captured it suddenly speeding on Mysuru Road in Kengeri. "We traced the car to a residence in Hejjalla. The car owner claimed he paid the fine for a faulty silencer with the RTO and would soon replace it. However, we booked him in another case under BNS Section 281 (rash or negligent driving/riding on public ways that endangers human life) and the Indian Motor Vehicle Act and seized the vehicle," an investigating officer said.
