Ajith Kumar has stepped away from his film commitments to concentrate on his motorsport journey, recently launching his own racing team. His efforts are already paying off-he clinched third place in the AM class of the Michelin Creventic Porsche GT3 Cup and finished fourth in the grueling Barcelona 24H endurance race.
Ajith is now gearing up for the 2025 Asian Le Mans Series. The format is set to host three action-packed rounds at Sepang International Circuit (Malaysia), Dubai Autodrome, and Yas Marina Circuit (Abu Dhabi), each featuring two four-hour endurance races. The grid will include LMP2 and LMP3 prototypes alongside GT3-spec machines. Notably, Ajith Kumar and Narain Karthikeyan will compete in the LMP3 class, driving a Ligier JS P325 powered by a Toyota 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 engine.
