London-based Nothing has announced the Phone (4b) RCB Edition, an exclusive collectable built to celebrate its partnership with Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the team's back-to-back championship wins.
The limited-edition device will go on sale just once, on 7 July 2026, at a single-day drop at Nothing's Bengaluru store. Doors open at 4 PM IST, and stock will be sold strictly first-come, first-served, with quantities described as extremely limited. It is a fitting move for a brand that has built its identity on scarcity and hype as much as hardware.
“At Nothing, we've always believed technology should create culture, not just products,” said Akis Evangelidis, Co-founder and India President, Nothing. He added that the partnership with RCB brought together two communities that share an ambition to challenge convention, and that the special edition was Nothing's way of marking the franchise's historic championship victory and the two companies' journey together.
The tie-up runs deeper than a co-branded handset. Nothing joined RCB as Associate Sponsor for the 2025 T20 season before stepping up to Title Sponsor in 2026, and the franchise lifted the trophy in both years, giving the collaboration a genuine sporting story to lean on.
Beyond the cricket tie-in, the Phone (4b) itself is significant for Nothing's roadmap. It is the first device in a new “b” Series, sitting alongside the existing Phone (4a) lineup and widening the company's smartphone portfolio into a fresh price segment. Nothing has confirmed the phone will run on a Snapdragon processor, promising efficient performance and on-device AI features, though full specifications will only be revealed at the broader launch on 7th July at 3:30 PM IST.
The RCB edition arrives at a strong moment for Nothing in India. Per Counterpoint Research, the company has been the country's fastest-growing smartphone brand in eight of the last nine quarters, and the standard Phone (4a) Series became its best-selling launch to date, topping its segment on Flipkart on day one. A cricket-themed collectable, timed to a championship high, looks designed to keep that momentum going.
The review of the Nothing Phone 4b will be dropping on BW Businessworld soon. Stay tuned.
