Nagaland election results today show a clear victory for the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party （NDPP） and Bharatiya Janata Party （BJP） alliance. The coalition has secured 37 seats in the 60-member assembly, ensuring a comfortable majority to form the government.

Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has won from the Northern Angami-II constituency with a significant margin of over 15,000 votes. This marks his fifth consecutive term as the chief minister of Nagaland, making him one of the longest-serving chief ministers in India.
