Trade experts predict the first-week total could cross ₹100 crore net, a remarkable feat for a dubbed Kannada release.
While reaching the ₹200 crore milestone may be difficult, Kantara: Chapter 1 (Hindi) is well positioned to end its run near the ₹175 crore mark - an outstanding result considering its scale and competition.
While Kantara 2 may not have matched initial sky-high expectations, its Hindi box-office performance remains impressive for its budget and scale.
The film has also shown exceptional holds across South India, particularly in Mysore and Karnataka, where it continues its massive run.
Across all languages, Kantara: Chapter 1 collected around ₹30 crore net on Monday, marking a drop of under 50% from its opening day.
