Under the glittering lights of Ramleela Maidan, history was scripted when India unveiled its first franchise-based Archery Premier League (APL), pleasantly inaugurated by none other than Mega Power Star Ram Charan.
Amid massive cheers, the actor performed the season’s ceremonial Raavan Dahan, making the moment both spiritually symbolic and sportingly charged.
Fans, many waving banners of their favorite star, witnessed not only a festival but the genesis of a league that could place archery alongside mainstream competitive sports in India.
Ram Charan’s presence made the event a grand spectacle. He emphasized that it is the collective responsibility of all of us to take this league forward with our full support.
The APL owes its roots to the vision of Anil Kamineni, whose leadership brought together the Archery Association of India, World Archery bodies, and the Government.
