Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed Tree of Life Kanadukathan in Chettinad, Tamil Nadu, expanding its presence in the state's heritage hospitality segment. The brownfield project will involve the conversion of an existing heritage-style Chettiar property.

Located in Kanadukathan, the 20-key hotel will reflect the region's architectural heritage. The property will feature an all-day dining restaurant, lounge, swimming pool, spa and fitness centre.

This project aims to contribute to the region’s growing tourism ecosystem.” Kanadukathan is known for its heritage architecture and cultural events, including the Chettinad Heritage Festival, Aadi Perukku and Navaratri.
With this signing, IHCL's portfolio in Tamil Nadu will expand to 33 hotels, including 19 operational properties and 14 under development. |
