Skincare startup LNGVTY has raised Rs 5 crore in a seed funding round led by venture capital firm Rukam Capital, with participation from a group of angel investors, as it looks to scale its presence in India’s fast-growing beauty and personal care market.
The company said the funds will be used to boost direct-to-consumer marketing, strengthen customer acquisition, expand its product portfolio and invest in research-driven innovation, while also building its core team to support future growth.
LNGVTY positions itself as India’s first “skin longevity” beauty brand, focusing on science-backed formulations aimed at improving long-term skin health rather than offering short-term cosmetic fixes. Its product framework, called the Skin Longevity System 5, is built around five biological pathways that support skin repair, renewal and resilience.
The current product lineup includes targeted serums addressing acne and blemishes, dark spots and pores, and hydration and glow. These products are based on a common formulation platform and have been validated through third-party testing and a 75-day usage protocol, according to the company.
Commenting on the investment, Archana Jahagirdar, Founder and Managing Partner at Rukam Capital, said the firm sees strong potential in science-led skincare brands amid shifting consumer preferences. She noted that India’s skincare market, valued at over USD 9 billion in 2025, is expected to nearly double over the next decade as demand grows for clinically validated and preventive solutions.
Founder Nishit Ratthe said the brand aims to move away from trend-driven skincare and instead focus on biological regeneration. He added that LNGVTY is built on the idea of supporting the skin’s natural processes rather than treating it as a surface-level concern.
The funding comes at a time when India’s beauty market is witnessing increased premiumisation and rising awareness around ingredient transparency and efficacy, creating opportunities for research-driven brands.
Rukam Capital said the investment aligns with its strategy of backing consumer startups that combine scientific credibility with strong market relevance.
LNGVTY, founded by Nishit Ratthe and headquartered in Mumbai, is focused on building a longevity-driven skincare ecosystem rooted in clinical research and innovation. |
