Traditional kabaddi mats made from jute and cotton, manufactured in rural Indian villages, provided the playing surface for athletes. These eco-friendly mats support local artisans and promote sustainable manufacturing practices.
Players wore jerseys crafted from breathable khadi cotton, a fabric deeply rooted in India\“s independence movement. The championship also featured Ayurvedic sports massage oils and herbal pain relief balms, made from indigenous plants like turmeric and ashwagandha, to help athletes recover from injuries and maintain peak performance.
Local food vendors served nutritious snacks including protein-rich laddoos made from sesame seeds, peanuts, and jaggery, along with fresh coconut water from Kerala plantations.
